Subscribers help support and sustain what's offered here, in the same way that reciprocity allows cycles to continue in nature and ecosystems to work in harmony. Whether you have a free or paid subscription, I’m so grateful for your presence here. Thank you.
I envision a space that exists in reciprocity with nature.
It resembles the woodland surroundings with other plants that have migrated from away and are suited to this climate and region.
It's a natural and wild landscape with a focus on perennials, many medicinal, and a sanctuary for all. Also, rows of garden roses, lavender, and peonies.
I’ll notice the areas inclined towards more sun and shade as guided by the growth of trees.
This is no ordinary yard or landscape.
It's a place where the soil breathes and the colors change with the seasons.
It’s a place where we grow and harvest in gratitude.
Where we’re observers, learning and listening with a deep bow to nature as a teacher.
It’s a place to experience beauty and remember our connection to nature.
The Retreat House is available for luxuriously peaceful getaways. Guided or self-guided experiences for the retreat seeker are available in every season — to witness the rhythms of the Earth in the blooming array of flowers or the snow covered land whispering beneath their boots.
I envision teaching about cultivating plants and living in reciprocity with nature.
The landscape here is an ever evolving journey that moves at nature's pace, so I leave space for this land to transform as Forest & Flowers Retreat expands and evolves, as it will no doubt change as time passes.
The connection felt here will be an experiential reminder of what is wild, cyclical, and soulful in each of us.
“Sustain the ones who sustain you and the Earth will last forever.”
