I've been noticing how present Life wants me to be.
Awake and present to a practice that’s not all about perfection, improvement, or ‘how do I make it better’ so I'm untouched by the metaphorical, or actual, cold waters I experience in this life and human body.
It’s more a practice of remembering to let the water flow over and through even the hardest places.
To feel when I’m gripping tightly to what I expect it be and also to let myself by free.
To notice when I'm wanting it to be different and also be less attached to the sequence.
It feels like the labor a tree goes through to fruit — the way it’s ripened in the hot sun — the way a seed busts through its shell and then flowers open.
