dear divine nature, what would you have me know about the limitations of my body?
Limitations. This is an interesting word, isn’t it? It may sound like contraction and restriction, the opposite of freedom… and limitations are also boundaries. They give you form. Without the structure of tissue, blood would not channel through your beautiful vessels.
So limitations are simply the structure for your life and for your body, to be with, navigate with, and feel. It’s part of being human.
And as a human, you’ll experience pain, injury, and change in the body. Ask your body, “what is it that you need?” Ask this especially in times of pain, but not so you can dismiss or fix a problem, but to be present with what you see, feel, and notice in your body.
Just like you can resist the flow of blood through your vessels, you can also allow for the flow of energy through these structures and limitations which offer form.
You will feel changes in your body, and you may resist many of them. Changes and signs of withering like flower petals fading after pollination. Cycles and seasons. Cycles and seasons.
Each fading and changing experience is like living through another season inside of you.
How can you live, be, and feel this growth and glory of expression as another cycle of regeneration? What if “limitations” are actually leading you to cycles of regeneration?
Of course they are. Look at nature and the flowers. They have structure and form too, but they are not limited by change and cycles.
You’re made of the same elements. All you have is the capacity for the flow of life over and over again.
Be in this flow - try not to resist what you feel. Just as you pick flowers gently as they wither, collect the seeds, and offer these seeds back to the soil… offer hope back to the soil of your being by planting the seeds you receive in each cycle and each experience passing through you.
You are becoming. You are expanding into thousands of seeds to share. You are not limitations. You are limitless.
