“Sometimes I wish I could photosynthesize so that just by being, just by shimmering at the meadow's edge or floating lazily on a pond, I could be doing the work of the world while standing silent in the sun.” ― Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass

What memories do you have connected to flowers? Where does the aroma of a certain flower take you?
Sending you blooms and butterflies from the Forest & Flowers. I also have two upcoming invitations for you to visit in person — a Yoga & Aromatherapy workshop on Receiving the Gifts of the Earth, and Brunch & Blooms in September. Details for both experiences here.
Love these images Jenni. My favourite scent is white jasmine as it was outside our hotel when we got married and on a warm summer evening the smell was intoxicating.
I think of my grandmother every time I see forget me nots and lily of the valleys. She had both of them in her garden 😊 The smell of a rose brings to mind my childhood cat, who would always sniff them whenever we had a bouquet on the table. 💕
