A beautiful post and a reminder I keep postponing (procrastinating) about getting my new seeds out of their inspiring seed packets and into the ground. My climate in Southern California gives me a long luxurious window for planting seeds, but will slam shut with the first hot spells. Planting seeds is not my only venue for procrastination with a lifetime of reflection on why. Maybe your post is this year's activator. I enjoyed all the budding and emerging. I enjoy this stage of spring as much as the resulting flowers and leaves. Thank you.

Ah Leslie, I can relate to this procrastination. It seems once I get all the supplies gathered and begin the first seeds, a gateway opens. And then, like the metaphor that keeps coming around for me... small seeds... small steps... grow and expand. Thank you for your reflection and share🙏

Azalea... a blessing beyond words... the color of those tiny little buds takes me back to childhood when I'd be walking to school (by myself! before we couldn't!) and those small miracles were my landmarks for a week or two...
